a moon on a sad night @ 5:47 PM

nyc / union square / 11.28.11

You can still find beauty in sadness.

Try to remember this.

Beauty can be found anywhere.

I took this photo sitting on a bench, when I was feeling down. I couldn't explain how I felt at that moment. I was sitting with the guy I was dating and the atmosphere felt so . . . stifled. Strange and uncomfortable. I felt like we were slowly pulling apart. And then I looked up at the sky, and saw that tiny moon, and I almost felt...better. There I was, sitting down, surrounded by the crazy hustle and bustle of Union Square, feeling a little sad and confused at what was going on with me and my guy then...and I looked up and still found beauty.

I think that's a good life lesson.

Always look for the good.

Always
