RapeLay
This is one of the most disturbing things I've read in a really long time.
Apparently, in Japan, there's a video game called RapeLay where you, well you guessed it right. Rape! In the game, you can follow young women home, grope them, assault them and rape them.
WHAT THE FUCK
How is this even. . . how is this even a game? Who the fuck plays this? I'd seriously like to know who the sick fucks are that actually play this.
The thing is, this isn't anything new! At least not in Japan. In the Akihabara district (the electronic district), you can go into a store and purchase a rape game (called hentai games, where the girls look childish and innocent and the goal is to torture and rape them). These are games that Japan has had for a long time. I'm not surprised. Japan is also the home of some of the weirdest porn ever, why wouldn't they be the home of rape games?
One quote that really pissed me off was this:
Look, I get that this world is filled with violent videogames. We can't change that. The world is so digital these days that once something is made and put online, it's there to be shared with the masses. But where does it stop? First we have Grand Theft Auto, where we kill and steal cars. Then we have RapeLay, where we rape women on trains. What's next? A game where we stalk, rape and kill little children? And it would be okay since 'the creator should be free to express himself'?
Well, if you want to read more on this, there's an article at CNN, and there's a review of the game here. I couldn't even read through most of it without gagging. Apparently there's virgin raping and gang raping.
Honestly, this sounds exactly like a plot from Law & Order SVU. Elliot, where you at? Let's go find these suckers.
