the muthafuckin pixies @ 12:11 PM

my reaction when my friend gave me two tickets

Haha.

So I wasn't gonna post anything today but in anticipation for watching The Pixie tonight, I wanted to post a few of my favorite songs by them.

Man, I can't even hide my excitement for this. The Pixies were so prevalent in my life. I still remember the first song I heard from them. I had just seen Fight Club and it was that amazing scene at the end of the movie and their song 'Where Is Your Mind' started playing. All I remember thinking was WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SONG I LOVE IT.

Well, I Yahoo'd (no Google, was Google even around back then?) and found them. And after that? Well, it's love baby.

The only other band that I would freak out this much over would be Red Hot Chili Peppers. MAN I would pay mucho dinero to ever, EVER go to one of their concerts.

Oh yeah. Best thing about this concert? I didn't have to pay for the tickets. Yep. I'm pretty much awesome.

This song is a fucking classic:

This song makes me want to have sex. I don't know, Francis voice is so sexy in it:

Fun fact: If you're a Nirvana fan, did you know that Kurt styled his biggest hit, Smells Like Teen Spirit, to sound like The Pixies? He admitted it in an interview. He was a very big fan of The Pixies.

Monkey Gone To Heaven:

Wave of Mutilation:

Some of my favorite songs. I only included songs from the Doolittle album, only because that's all they are doing in this concert.

Fuck yes.

So excited.
